A collection of points from my first dig at the Pipe Creek TX site -Feb 09. The cool thing about this site is it has all ages, but almost everything I found was old stuff across a variety of types.
Sometimes the broken ones are pretty awesome too. Here is a broken base tang knife from Pipe Creek that is paper thin and would have been bigger than your hand. Still not sure how they did that level and skill of flintknapping!
And finally, I have been digging 12 or so years and have never found two matched broken pieces until this weekend. Its a little crude and thick, but its still neat to think that he broke it thousands of years ago and I found the halves and pieced it back together yesterday.
